A true web geek and programmer, James counts Artificial Intelligence, "functional programming," lamda calculus, and Erlang - working to marry the nature of the web with the nature of the programming language - among his "hobbies."

James brings an extensive arsenal of the latest and greatest web toolsets to explode onto any business requirement he tackles.

Look out because he'll often give you something better than you were expecting as he has been known to come up with the "golden feature" of the project. James prides himself on efficiency and states as his professional objective as to "Write beautiful, functional code and have a good time doing it."

James comes to Benton Consulting after a two year stint as the lead developer for a custom web software outfit in St. Louis, Missouri. James holds a BS in computer science with minors in math and religion from Principia College.

A true product of the "web generation", James says "go green!". He also enjoys cooking and playing with his cats Bull, Agnus, and Dipstick.
